Sudden sleepiness during the day
You may suddenly feel sleepy while you’re eating, in the car, or watching a TV show. This usually happens in the first trimester of pregnancy, and it’s due to high levels of hormones, especially progesterone.
To limit the chances of this happening, try to sleep early at night, and to rest as much as you can in the weekend.

Finding difficulty sleeping at night
You may suffer from insomnia after the first trimester of your pregnancy. This happens due to the decrease in the level of progesterone in your body. Your anxiety also gets worse, you have troubling ideas and questions, and you constantly monitor your baby’s movements.

Although waking up at night is annoying and tiring, you shouldn’t stop drinking water during the day.

The more you progress in your pregnancy, the harder it gets to wake up in the morning. This is normal, and is a result of pregnancy fluctuations.
